There’s a *lot* more to Google than just AdWords.


With Google Alerts, you can know exactly when Google has just visited your website and added a page of your content to it’s index.

This post is a realtime experiment to demonstrate how quickly a new page of content can be added to the Google index.

And how you can be sent an email by Google in real-time to alert you that they just did!

Google Alerts is set to monitor my publisher name (david rothwell) in real-time.

When I publish this brief article, Google will email me an alert that my page was added to their index.

Let’s see how long it takes …
